Solutions
Sparkplug is searching for host sites, such as office parks, box stores, universities and municipal offices with loads of >250 kW and ground level parking facilities. We are developing energy storage projects with the capability to provide 1 – 2 MW of grid regulation as well as backup power for host locations. We integrate solar generation with cutting edge battery technology to create a competitive ancillary services provider for the SmartGrid and reliable services for host sites.
Business

We deploy containerized lithium ion battery systems with state of the art power electronics to levelize peak power demand and provide improved power quality.
Municipal utilities
Municipal utilities face challenges similar to those encountered by large commercial electricity customers. For them Sparkplug Power offers PowerNET service. This is a networked system of residential, energy storage devices that can be centrally controlled by the municipal utility. This increases reliability, reduces system peaks and offers other labor related benefits especially in systems with high account turnover.

This includes specification, procurement and installation in the United States and Caribbean.
Fire safety training
We offer fire safety training for fire departments and other first responders.
Code development
This is for updating uninterruptible power supply codes to more dynamic use profiles of todays battery systems.
Project scoping
We offer project scoping for RfP programs and direct purchases by governments and industrial users.
